Providing Services for Older People in and around the Glenrothes area

Welcome to Age Concern Glenrothes' website. We are a local charity providing quality day services for older people aged 65 and over.

We operate 11 sessions per week delivering Active Ageing and Dementia services in addition to piloting Reablement care.

Our aim is to provide a safe, warm and welcoming environment at each of our four centres. We want people to enjoy themselves and offer a wide variety of fun activities including games, crafts, reminiscing and entertainment. We are also in the process of introducing new activities including computer classes, interactive demonstrations and Nintendo Wii and Xbox challenges. Come along and enjoy 'a wee blether', or take the opportunity to learn new skills. A team of trained staff and volunteers are on hand to help and support you. All this, plus a meal and transport to and from the sessions is included for a nominal fee.

Age Concern Glenrothes promotes the well-being and independence of older people. We provide care, support and information to all those attending our sessions and their carers in order to make later life a more fulfilling and enjoyable experience.
