It is the role of our
volunteer carers to help create a warm and welcoming environment for
our members, and other volunteers. They help to make sure that our
members are treated as individuals and are given choices.
Their main tasks are to:

greet our members when
they arrive
-
assist with coats and
jackets - if required
-
assist members to and
from the tables - if required
-
set and clear tables
at breakfast and lunch time
-
help our members to
take part in activities and games
-
liaise with the centre
organiser or keyworker to make sure that people's needs are being
met
-
raise any worries
regarding members with the centre organiser or keyworker
-
attend support and
information-giving sessions as required
-
carry out all tasks in
line with Age Concern's operational manual.
