Donating
We receive funding from both Fife Council and NHS Fife, as well as
from trusts and public donations. It is these donations that
help us to do the things that we could not otherwise do.
Making a donation is easy!
- By Post: Use our
printable
form (Adobe
Reader required) and post it to us at:
Age Concern Glenrothes
100 Scott Road
Glenrothes
KY6 1AE
- Telephone: Call
the office on 01592 756316
- Payroll Giving: If
your employer is part of a payroll giving scheme you can donate
straight from your pay, before tax. This makes your
contributions "cheaper". Every pound you give actually takes
only 78p from your take home pay, 60p for higher rate tax
payers. Speak to your personnel department at work or call us
on 01592 756316.
- Direct Debit:
Regular monthly giving from your bank account is an easy and
practical means of giving.
Legacies: By making a bequest to Age Concern Glenrothes in your
Will. Anything left to charity is free of inheritance tax, which
otherwise becomes payable at 40% after the first £250,000. We
recommend that you seek professional advice as your will must be
legally valid.
Make your donation go
further with ' Gift Aid'.
Charities can claim back the
tax paid on all donations, which means that your money can do more
for older people. Age Concern can claim 28p for each £1 donated.
(In each tax year, you need to pay enough income tax and/or
capital gains tax to cover the amount we claim back from Inland
Revenue). If this is something that you are interested in doing,
tick the relevant box on our
printable form.
