Volunteers' Night Out

Around 60 volunteers attended our thank you for them at the Gilven Bank Hotel, Glenrothes on 6 June which took the form of a quiz night. Our thanks to Volunteering Fife's Val McDowell who organised the event on our behalf.

Manager Anne Toye, and depute manager, Anne Russell, presented certificates to around 15 volunteers with more than five, ten and 15 years of service with Age Concern Glenrothes - a truly amazing achievement.

Kirstie and Joy cut the specially-commissioned cake. Kirstie is one of our newest carers, and volunteers at Scott Road two days per week. Joy has been with us at St Margaret's centre for 10 years.
