Once we receive a referral, we arrange to see the person in their own home, with or without a friend or family member present. This gives us the chance to explain about our service. It helps us to find out which centre is most suited to them, and helps us to make sure that they meet our criteria.

Changing circumstances

We recognise that someone's situation change over time. We can therefore re-assess someone previously referred who did not initially meet our criteria.

We also continually review our clients’ needs and abilities. Where we can no longer support someone we will refer them for care which might be better suited to their situation.
