Volunteering is rewarding - and fun!  

This is an exciting time for our organisation.  We have plans to expand and develop our service over the next few months.

We currently have vacancies for volunteer key workers, carers and drivers (see links before)

If you can spare a few hours each week then you could be who we are looking for.

You will be able to understand the needs of older people.  You will be patient, friendly and understanding.  You don't judge people, you accept them for who they are. In return, we will provide you with support and information to suit your role and experience.  

Most of our volunteers act as carers.  They welcome our members to the centres and make sure that their day is an enjoyable one, but we have a variety of unpaid posts :

• carer

• organiser

• key worker

• cook

• driver

• administration

• Trustee

Please note that all our staff require an Enhanced Disclosure check.
